When Facebook unveiled its latest feature, Graph Search, the first and perhaps the only thing that people will compare it to is, of course, the search engine from the big brother Google. Although Facebook’s Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that his latest invention is not aimed at Google search whatsoever, it’s still pretty clear that there’s some elements of swag thrown at Google’s face, challenging its technology and practicality in an ever changing digital world.

It’s not a threat until it’s a threat

Powered with innovative (and insanely cool) new features, such as the ability to understand human’s natural language, Facebook Graph Search suddenly makes Google search looks a bit outdated. Despite the fact that they’re both meant for two different types of search, it’d be foolish for Google not to see Graph Search as a threat. Plus, Google also need to remember that Facebook’s got Bing on their back to deliver web search results in Graph Search. So, look out Google!
